My first post

I'm just learning about posting to a blog, so you'll have to bear with me. I really don't have much to say about myself. It will be interesting to see the result of this blog. I guess this is an opportunity to get on my own "soapbox".


I chose my screen name since in my free time, I manage the Minnesota 4-H Horse Library. The library was started years ago with funding from the Minnesota Horse Council. In particular we have Marion Tschida to thank for its creation. The library is now over 300 videos (VHS & DVD) and at least 100 books. I could go on, but I don't think that is the focus of this exercise. I am also a librarian for a public library system. As a librarian that was trained before the advent of the Internet as we know it, I am learning the capabilities for my work.
